My name is Anthony Calleja, and I am a photographer based in Oahu, Hawaii.
The early years are a few images from my older photography work, photographed about 40 years ago.
Back then, the Master of the Decisive Moment and Black and white 35mm photography, Henri Cartier Brisson, inspired me.
I would walk the streets of San Francisco in search of the Decisive Moment. I'd imagine Brisson's presence, and I work with the old Canon F-1 camera and a 50mm lens. Shot candid black and white available light photography.
The Patriarch is a portrait of My Father, Pacifico Calleja. Photographed on his Birthday at the age of 76 years. To those who knew him, he was the Living Testament of God's Love and Sacrifice.
